Systems/Governance
In
contrast to many other nations, America does not
have an integrated, comprehensive system of early care and
education for its youngest citizens. The Center's work in
this area acknowledges the lack of such a system. It examines
all the elements, including governance and finance, that
need to be addressed in the creation of an early care and
education system and includes strategies for outreach and
dissemination of information for those attempting to develop
a more coherent approach to service delivery for young children
and families.
