Elizabeth Riina, Ph.D.
Dr. Elizabeth Riina is a post-doctoral Research Scientist at NCCF. She earned her doctoral degree in Human Development & Family Studies from Penn State University, and her B.A. in Brain & Cognitive Sciences from the University of Rochester. Her research interests focus on family systems and adolescent development, and on the roles of family and socio-cultural contexts for adolescent development and well-being. Additional interests include studying the risk and protective factors that contribute to family and adolescent development, the interactions between neighborhood and family dynamics, and the development of coparenting relationships. Dr. Riina is involved in the Parenting and Adolescent Risk Behavior in Context and the Neighborhood Context and Adolescent Psychological and Behavioral Health projects.
